Domestic and intimate partner abuse has devastating effects on individuals, families, and communities. Too often, survivors are forced to endure the abuse alone and are isolated from places they could possibly turn to for safety and support.

CUT IT OUT®: The Beauty Community Against Domestic Abuse is dedicated to changing this in communities across the U.S. by raising awareness and training salon professionals to recognize the signs and symptoms of abuse to safely and confidentially refer clients, friends, family, and co-workers to local resources for help.

CUT IT OUT® is a program of the Professional Beauty Association (PBA) Foundation. Launched in 2003, CUT IT OUT® has seen tremendous success across the country, training tens of thousands of salon professionals and cosmetology students, and has received national recognition and won several awards.

Upon completion of this training, participants will be able to receive a Certificate of Completion to visually display in their salons, barber shops, and/or work stations.
