You're Doing a Good Job Right Where You Are

In a world that often celebrates big milestones and fast progress, it’s easy to forget an important truth: you are doing a good job right where you are. Growth doesn’t always look dramatic, sometimes it looks like showing up, taking a breath, and continuing on hard days.

Small, steady steps matter. Baby steps honor where you are today without asking more than you can give. Setting realistic goals isn’t giving up; it’s choosing patience and sustainability. Every step forward counts, even pauses taken to regain your footing.

Taking care of yourself is not something you need to earn. Rest, asking for help, and setting boundaries are all valid. Self-care builds the foundation that allows you to keep going.

You are doing a great job, not because everything is finished, but because you’re trying and showing up in the ways you can. Give yourself credit for the quiet strength it takes to keep moving forward.

Wherever you are today, you are doing a good job. Honor your pace. Every small step matters.

Digital Stalking

Awareness

When we think about stalking, we often picture someone showing up at a person's home, following them in public, or leaving unwanted notes or gifts. While these forms of stalking still occur, stalking today often looks different and can happen entirely through a screen. As technology evolves, so do the ways someone can monitor, track or exert control over another person, often in ways that are less visible but just as harmful....

Turning Point offers short-term, 8-week individual counseling for teens ages 14+ who are navigating unhealthy relationships with themselves or others, or who have been impacted by witnessing domestic violence at home.

Our counseling is supportive, educational, and skill-based, focused on helping teens better understand their experiences, strengthen coping skills, and build healthier ways of connecting with others.

Referrals can be made by parents or caregivers, schools or community partners, or through self-referral.

Ask Ms. G

New Year, New Questions!

Ask Ms. G dives into what it means to notice your own patterns, navigate constant conflict, and balance friendships with your feelings.

This January, we’re talking about:

  • What if I realize I might be the “red flag”?
  • We’ve been arguing every day and it’s always “my fault.” What do I do?
  • How do I tell my friends I’m in love with the girl they hate?

Community Support Shines Bright for Turning Point

As we begin a new year, we are filled with gratitude for the incredible generosity that continues to strengthen Turning Point's work.  This past holiday season brought an outpouring of support, from foundation grants to heartfelt holiday donations.  And every contribution moves us closer to ensuring safety, healing, and hope for survivors of domestic and intimate partner abuse.

Holiday Appeal: A Season of Giving

Our annual Holiday Appeal has once again shown how deeply the community cares.  Donors from across the Lehigh Valley stepped up with gifts!  Every contribution, large or small, helps create brighter, safer futures.  We are humbled by the compassion reflected in every donation received this season.  And if the hustle and bustle of the holidays prevented you from making a donation to the appeal, there's still time.  Click on the donate today button below.

Gift Cards and Community Kindness

In addition to financial support, we received generous donations of gift cards that allow survivors to meet urgent needs with dignity and independence.  Whether it's groceries, clothing, transportation, or household supplies, these gift cards offer survivors flexibility during moment of transition and healing.

In fact, you donated $9,710 worth of gift cards and we were able to purchase more with $1,450 in donations designated for gift card purchases, totaling an amazing $11,160!!  These cards were used to support 63 of our clients and their families.

With Rapid Reentry Housing Program funds, we were able to purchase an additional $21,750 in gift cards for our families in housing.  Your generosity helped more than 100 families with nearly $33,000!

On behalf of the Turning Point team and the survivors we serve, thank you for continuing to uplift our mission.  Together, we are creating a safer, more compassionate Lehigh Valley.
