Let’s Talk: Recognizing Domestic and Intimate Partner Abuse in the Community

Turning Point of Lehigh Valley will facilitate discussion of how to recognize signs of abuse in the community, respond to people they may know that are in abusive or dangerous situations, and refer them to Turning Point for services. Turning Point serves all survivors in the Lehigh Valley, so empowering the community to reach out to us is important and necessary in our mission to eliminate domestic and intimate partner abuse.

In 2019-2020, we help almost 3,200 people in the Lehigh Valley. They could have been your neighbor, your co-worker, your family member, or someone else you know in the community. It is important that we stand united as a community in order to be able to help those around us who need our help. It starts with someone like you who learns about our services and passes our information along and changes someone’s life.
