Domestic Violence Awareness Month Campaign
Dear Friends,
This Domestic Violence Awareness Month kicks off our Annual Campaign, bringing attention to an important truth: while we’ve made progress in reducing the recurrence of abuse, the demand for our services steadily grows. In part, we know that as more people recognize that violence isn’t the only form of domestic and intimate partner abuse, more survivors are turning to us for help.
At Turning Point of Lehigh Valley, we plant the seeds of hope and empowerment through our Housing Programs, 24-Hour Helpline, Counseling Programs, Legal Advocacy, and Financial Assistance. But that’s not all—we also educate our community, from middle schools to medical schools, from law enforcement to corporations. The more we educate, the more aware people become, and the more they seek the help they need.
Last year alone, we empowered and educated 8,919 survivors and community members—all with just 37 dedicated employees supported by community members like yourself!
We have established a strong foundation for understanding the issue of abuse—ensuring that children learn about healthy relationships, coworkers have access to necessary resources, and neighbors can find safety in times of crisis. Now, more than ever, we need your support to nurture these seeds of hope and ensure we have the resources to meet this ongoing demand. Your contribution is essential to expanding our programs and providing life-changing services.
With your support, we can continue to save lives, offer safety, and ensure survivors grow into futures free from fear and abuse. Donate now to be part of this important mission.
Thank you for standing with us.
