Training Description:

This training will provide foundational knowledge and delve into key concepts surrounding domestic and intimate partner abuse. We will address the unique challenges that may arise during crisis intervention support. Participants will enhance their awareness of the warning signs of abuse and learn how to respond to survivors using trauma-informed and survivor-centered approaches. The session will also explore how various life experiences can impact a survivor’s healing journey. By the end of the training, participants will be empowered to reflect on their learning and create actionable plans to support survivors of all identities. Additionally, we will introduce the resources available through Turning Point of Lehigh Valley and answer any questions you may have about this topic and the services we provide.
